WinterCon, the sci-fi and comic convention at Resorts World Casino’s, is an excuse to leave your work clothes at home.

The two-day convention brings out the collectors and the autograph hounds, sure. But it is the cosplay — short for costume play — characters that make this annual event something to remember.

Employed, perfectly reasonable adults elaborately dress up as their favorite characters, just for the fun of it.
