Praise for the Zucker Hillside Hospital

I would like to praise the Zucker Hillside Hospital for all they do in the mental health field to help the many in need.
The hospital is located in Glen Oaks Village. It is a division of Northshore/LIJ and a member of Northwell Health.
A person whom I love dearly was admitted to their Geriatric Adult Behavioral health department CORRECT NAME? last week. I saw firsthand the help and care from their staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, doctors and nurses. They are dedicated to the care of their patients.
It seems to me there still is a stigma surrounding those with mental health problems. As a society, we show a great deal of concern for those with diseases of the body, but not enough for those with those of the mind. I feel more must be done and more funding is needed to help those who are suffering so much from diseases of the mind.
Now this is from someone who has known a person for many years who is suffering from depression and has suffered so much.
Remember, a mind is a terrible thing to waste.
